Shaun was raised in Regina and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Regina, earned in 1986, with a concentration in Finance and Marketing.

He began his career with a major Canadian trust company, where he spent six years as a Senior Account Executive before establishing his financial planning practice.

Through a disciplined, client-focused approach, Shaun has built a well-established practice centered on comprehensive investment and retirement income planning, supported by long-standing client relationships and referrals.

By working closely with a network of specialized professionals, his objective is to simplify complex financial matters and help clients achieve their long-term financial objectives.

In addition to his advisory practice, Shaun is a partner at the Assante branch on Gamble Place in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

What began as a work experience program through the Université de Saint-Boniface in 1996 (Business Administration Diploma) has transformed into a long-time career working alongside Shaun in his practice.

As an integral piece of the practice, Mylene has obtained the Certified Financial Planner designation and the Canadian Securities Certificate (CSC) course.

She loves to assist clients with their wealth planning needs, whether it be building their retirement income plan or helping them understand specific investment strategies.

Outside of her business aspirations, Mylene enjoys spending time with her husband, their son and their three chocolate labs. A lover of the outdoors, she can often be found enjoying her country yard or at a remote campground near the water.

Joshua was raised in Winnipeg and graduated from the Asper School of Business at the University of Manitoba with a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours), double majoring in Finance and Marketing. His growing interest in financial planning during university led him to join Humphries Wealth Group in 2021.

He has completed the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and is fully licensed on securities. He is also fully licensed for Life Insurance and Accident & Sickness Insurance, and is currently working toward his Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation.

Outside of work, Joshua is passionate about golf, strength training, and endurance sports, having completed multiple Ironman triathlons and ultramarathons. He brings the same discipline, resilience, and long-term focus from endurance training into his planning-centric, analytical approach — helping clients gain clarity and confidence in their long-term financial decisions.

Jen's core responsibility is preparing client paperwork, statements and follow up from client meetings.

One would be hard-pressed to find someone as detail-orientated as Jen.

In her role, she assists in the production and tracking of many types of documents for clients, including opening new accounts, transferring money between accounts, completing address changes and processing client deposits.

Valeriia serves as an Administrative Assistant on our team, playing an essential role in supporting both the team and our clients. Fluent in English, Mandarin, Ukrainian, and Russian, Valeriia brings a diverse skill set and prior administrative experience, excelling in organization and communication.

Having moved to Canada in 2022, Valeriia has quickly adapted to the new environment, bringing a global perspective to her work. In her current role, Valeriia schedules appointments, prepares reports and agendas, and keeps files and documents well-organized. She works closely with the team to ensure smooth office operations.

In addition to her professional responsibilities, Valeriia enjoys staying active through yoga and pilates, and she loves traveling with her husband. She is also passionate about exploring new cultures, reading, and discovering new cuisines during her travels.

Rosa is a key member of our team. She assists in the day-to-day administration on client files.

In her free time she enjoys exploring the many things Manitoba has to offer with her husband James and daughter Lily.
